Qurban
Qurban is the worship of the slaughter of animals such as camels, cows and goats performed on Eid al-Adha which is; 10 Zulhijjah (after the completion of Eid prayer) and on the following Tasyrik days, namely; 11, 12 ,13 Zulhijjah
Qurban is an act of worship by slaughtering livestocks such as camel, cattle and goat. Qurban takes place after the prayer of Eid-Ul Adha on the 10th of Zulhijjah and three days afterward, which known as Tasyrik Day (11th,12th & 13th Zulhijjah).

The ruling to perform Qurban is Sunnah Mu’akkadah (a very recommended Sunnah)
Qurban based on the will left by a dead person.
Qurban ‘Nazar’ based on one’s absolute vow (When someone said “If i manage to get what I want, I will slaughter a Qurban animal”, therefore it is a must or ‘wajib’ for him/her to fulfill the vow or ‘nazar’.
Qurban ‘Ta’yin’ – when one already intends to slaughter certain livestock for Qurban.
It is not recommended to perform Qurban for people who has passed away, unless the deceased left behind a will to perform Qurban on their behalf.
Sure, in order to educate and familiarise the child with the act of Qurban. However, the parents need to guide the child to make his/her intention for Qurban.
Certainly, BUT one part of a cow needs to be named for one family member only (participant).
It is required for the participant to intend (prayer) to donate the reward (pahala) of the sacrifice to other family members.

As long as the seller give the commodity with the intention of a sale, and the buyer takes it also with the intention of purchase, it is sufficient. If long-term debt (long-term financial) such as to pay house loan, car loan et cetera, the kind of debt that we do not have any problem to pay it, then it is okay. In contrast, if the debt is burdening untill we are incapable to buy even neccessities in life such as food, then it is not necessary to perform Qurban.
It is not recommended as the meat is from Qurban which is an act of worship to Allah.
It is highly recommended for the one who intends to perform Qurban does not to cut their hair or nails starting from the 1st Zulhijjah up until their Qurban has been implemented.

Sure. We can prioritize Ibadah Qurban if it is nearing Eid-Ul Adha as the Qurban should be done once a year in a very limited time frame (10-13 of Zulhijjah only). The size of the sacrificial animals follows the standards & conditions of the animals that can be sacrificed, namely:
• Matured.(Camel: 5 years, cattle, buffalo & ; goat : 2 years, sheep : a year @ have given birth).
• Unblemished & diseaseless.
*In Addition: It’s best that the sacrificial animal has the most meat, but the weight & large is not the reason that the sacrifice is illegal.

Akikah ialah ibadah sembelihan haiwan ternakan yang disembelih pada hari ke-7 kelahiran bayi.

الْغُلاَمُ مُرْتَهَنٌ بِعَقِيقَتِهِ يُذْبَحُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ السَّابِعِ وَيُسَمَّى وَيُحْلَقُ رَأْسُهُ
It means: “Bayi itu tertebus dengan akikahnya. Disembelih akikah pada hari ke-7 kelahirannya, diberikan nama dan dicukur rambutnya” (Hadith Riwayat At-Tirmidzi – No. Hadith 1522).
Syeikh Muhammad Arsyad Al-Banjari berkata: “Jika tidak disembelih akikah pada hari yang ketujuh, maka hendaklah disembelih pada hari yang ke-14. Jika tidak disembelih pada hari yang keempat belas maka hendaklah disembelih pada hari yang ke-21”

Syeikh Muhammad Arsyad Al-Banjari said: “If the aqiqah is not slaughtered on the seventh day, then it should be slaughtered on the 14th day. If not slaughtered on the fourteenth day then it should be slaughtered on the 21st day”

Aqiqah is an established Sunnah-SUNNAH MUÁKKADAH to be exact (highly encouraged sunnah)-according to the more dominant opinion in Shafi’i school of thought.

The act of aqiqah is the responsibility of the child’s guardian (typically parents). If the parents have passed away (before being able to perform aqiqah for their child), then the responsibility goes to the grandfather, or uncle, or guardian of the child to do so.

Syeikh Muhammad Arsyad Al-Banjari said: “The person who is circumcised to do the aqiqah of a child is the person who is obliged to provide for it, i.e. the guardian according to his ability”.

It means: “if he represents and he has the intention when the slaughter takes place, then that intention is sufficient. It is not necessary for the intention of the representative even if the representative does not know that he is the person who sacrificed, this is not harmful (the law remains valid)”

Yes, it is even sunnah to perform aqiqah on a baby / someone who has died, if he has not been aqiqah during his lifetime.
b) SUNNAH (After birth)
The Fatwa of the Provincial Mufti stated that: “If a child is born and then dies before the 7th day of his birth, then it is sunnah to perform aqiqah on him as it is sunnah on a living person. This is an opinion held in the As-Syafie sect“ (AL-KAFI #1570)

Sunat menyembelih aqiqah dengan haiwan kambing

Berkata Imam An-Nawawi Rahimahullah:
مَذْهَبُنَا جَوَازُ الْعَقِيقَةِ بِمَا تَجُوزُ بِهِ الْأُضْحِيَّةُ مِنْ الابل والبقر والغنم وبه قال أنس ابن مَالِكٍ وَمَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ
Maksudnya: “Mazhab kami (iaitu As-Syafi`e), dibolehkan aqiqah apa yang dibolehkan dengannya sembelihan korban dari jenis unta, lembu dan kambing dan ini adalah pendapat Anas bin Malik dan Malik bin Anas”

Fatwa Imam Ibnu Hajar Al-Haitami Rahimahullah:
أَمَّا لَوْ ذَبَحَ بَدَنَةً أَوْ بَقَرَةً عَنْ سَبْعَةِ أَسْبَابٍ مِنْهَا ضَحِيَّةٌ وَعَقِيقَةٌ وَالْبَاقِي كَفَّارَاتٌ فِي نَحْوِ الْحَلْقِ فِي النُّسُكِ فَيُجْزِي ذَلِك
Maksudnya: “Sekiranya disembelih unta atau lembu untuk 7 bahagian bagi sebab-sebab darinya untuk korban dan aqiqah manakala bakinya untuk kaffarat bagi bercukur ketika ibadah haji maka sah hukumnya”

Fatwa Imam Ibnu Hajar Al-Haitami Rahimahullah:
أَمَّا لَوْ ذَبَحَ بَدَنَةً أَوْ بَقَرَةً عَنْ سَبْعَةِ أَسْبَابٍ مِنْهَا ضَحِيَّةٌ وَعَقِيقَةٌ وَالْبَاقِي كَفَّارَاتٌ فِي نَحْوِ الْحَلْقِ فِي النُّسُكِ فَيُجْزِي ذَلِك
Meaning: “If a camel or cow is slaughtered for 7 parts for the reasons of korban and aqiqah while the rest is for expiation for shaving during Hajj then the law is valid”

The priority of animals for aqiqah is the goat, based on strong arguments and the views of the majority of scholars in the As-Syafie sect and some other sects. While the next option is the farm animals that are allowed for the implementation of the sacrifice, namely cows and camels based on the views of Al-Imam An-Nawawi in the book Al-Majmu’ & Al-Imam Ibnu Hajar Al-Haitami in the book Fatawa Al-Kubra Al-fiqhiyyah.

We buy livestock in cows & goats breeding countries. And usually we buy directly from the breeder and there will be an offer if bought in large quantities.
AQIQAH MALAYSIA
Malaysia is not a country that breeds cows and goats on a large scale. Most of the animals are imported from abroad. That is why the price is higher than abroad.
Participants are not encouraged to choose the place of execution, except for the Local Aqiqah package (Malaysia).
The place of implementation will be determined by the management according to the package chosen by the participants and the needs of each place. This is to prevent dumping of slaughter animals.
Usually we will perform aqiqah in the countries concerned, including in Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Chad, Kenya, Uganda, Burkina Faso, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and also in some refugee camps such as the Rohingya (Border of Myanmar-

Aqiqah circumcision meat is cooked. Different from sacrificial worship where the meat is distributed raw.
But at EZ Qurban, not all of the aqiqah meat is cooked, some are distributed raw to the recipient.

ARGUMENT
This is based on the argument of Qiyas to the hadith of the Prophet SAW making aqiqah for his grandchildren with a goat each. As narrated by Ibnu Abbas Radhiallahu ‘anhu:
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم عَقَّ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ ُ كَبْشًا كَبْشًا
Meaning: “That the Messenger of God SAW made aqiqah for his grandsons Hassan and Hussain with a goat (kibash) one each“
(Hadith Riwayat Abi Daud – No. Hadith 2841)
Yes. The better the animal that is aqiqahed or sacrificed, the greater the reward will be.
Yes. However, the slaughtering time is different, because the conditions for slaughtering the aqiqah part of the cow must be 7 parts. And the possible location of slaughter is also different.

AQIQAH SEASON OF QURBAN:
All aqiqah registrations starting 1 Zulhijjah will be implemented after the end of the season of qurban. And a certificate of verification will be given after completion of implementation.

Fatwa Aqiqah with part of cow
Based on the Fatwa of Imam Ibnu Hajar Al-Haitami Rahimahullah:
أَمَّا لَوْ ذَبَحَ بَدَنَةً أَوْ بَقَرَةً عَنْ سَبْعَةِ أَسْبَابٍ مِنْهَا ضَحِيَّةٌ وَعَقِيقَةٌ وَالْبَاقِي كَفَّارَاتٌ فِي نَحْوِ الْحَلْقِ فِي النُّسُكِ فَيُجْزِي ذَلِك
Meaning: “If a camel or cow is slaughtered for 7 parts for the reasons of korban and aqiqah while the rest is for expiation for shaving during the hajj it is legal to eat…”
(Al-Fatawa al-Fiqhiyyah al-Kubra. Al-Maktabah al-Islamiyyah, 4/256)
Said Imam An-Nawawi Rahimahullah:
مَذْهَبُنَا جَوَازُ الْعَقِيقَةِ بِمَا تَجُوزُ بِهِ الْأُضْحِيَّةُ مِنْ الابل والبقر والغنم وبه قال أنس ابن مَالِكٍ وَمَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ
Meaning: “Our sect (i.e. al-Syafi`e), it is permissible for aqiqah what is permissible with it for the slaughter of camels, cows and goats and this is the opinion of Anas bin Malik and Malik bin Anas.”

Valid Conditions for Aqiqah With part of the cow
The valid conditions for the Aqiqah worship on the cow are the same as the valid conditions for the Korban worship with the cow. Among them are:
- Enough 7 parts of a cow that is one.
- Sufficient Cow Age (2 years and above)
- Cows are healthy and not too thin.
- Cows have enough character and no defects.
This is based on Qias on the legal conditions for sacrificial animals (cows).

Aqiqah Ramadan
Tempahan paling lewat diterima sebelum jam 3:00 petang sehari sebelum hari sembelihan.
The Prihatin Ummah program is a program carried out every year by EZ Qurban in conjunction with the presence of the month of Ramadan. This program campaign was launched starting on 01 Rajab until 27 Ramadan.
Among the filling of the program is the implementation of Aqiqah that has been accumulated starting from 01 Rajab will be completed in the month of Ramadan, then the meat of the Aqiqah will be cooked and distributed as a meal to break the fast to the needy.
Take the opportunity to double the reward of Aqiqah Worship when it is done in the month of Ramadan, in addition to being able to distribute aqiqah meat as a meal to break the fast to the needy.
There is no specific argument about this. The encouragement to perform Aqiqah in the month of Ramadan is only to provide an opportunity for those who have not yet performed Aqiqah for themselves, children or grandchildren.
And the month of Ramadan is the best opportunity to feed people who break their fast and double the reward of those who fast if they do good deeds in the month.
The best thing is to hasten the implementation of Aqiqah on the 7th day as the Prophet SAW had ordered in the hadith.
The Ramadan Aqiqah is an opportunity for those who have missed performing the Aqiqah for themselves, their children and grandchildren. Implementation in the month provides an opportunity to grab the reward of feeding people who break their fast.
Ramadan Aqiqah Management Info

Starting from 1 Rajab until Ramadan, the Ez Qurban side will postpone all normal aqiqah implementation (except for the 7th, 14th & 21st day requests) and will be implemented in the month of Ramadan.
EZ Qurban organized the UMMAH CARE PROGRAM from Rajab to the end of Ramadan.
In this program, all Aqiqah participants will be slaughtered in the month of Ramadan and the Aqiqah meat will be used as a dish to break the fast and served to the needy community.
A full report will be received upon completion of the slaughter. The Ez Qurban party will provide a certificate of aqiqah execution written on the participant’s name, location and date of slaughter.
And we also include proof of complete implementation whether in the form of a video or a picture.
Aqiqah meat will be distributed based on the situation abroad. Some are cooked and served to break the fast, and some are given raw.
